The Sunflower Appeal
The Telford Sunflower Challenge raises money for the Sunflower Appeal, run by Lingen Davies Cancer Fund. The Appeal is funding a new cancer centre at Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, bringing chemotherapy and support closer to home for thousands of people across Telford and the surrounding areas.
Instead of long, exhausting journeys to other hospitals, more patients will be able to receive treatment locally, surrounded by the people and places they know. The new centre will offer modern treatment spaces, specialist staff, and a calm, welcoming environment.
